Are meetings now over too quick?

Post by jack on Thu May 29, 2008 9:55 pm

Does anyone agree with me that meetings are now turned around too quickly? If you put yourselves in the position of travelling 3/4 hours to get to a meeting and then get some damage in the first race, the races are turned around so quick now that there isn't enough time between races to repair the damage. This must be the case with all the formula's, not just the V8s. Also, there is no longer an interval midway through the meeting.
Do you agree or disagree?

We find that with our meeting the promoter runs up to 8 differant formulas in a night and as one formula is driving off the track the other is entering the track via the other gate sometimes we only have 3 to 5 minutes between races this dos'nt allow time for car to cool down or enable any repairs to be carried out Mad
