Post  moss8one5 on Mon Nov 24, 2008 10:07 pm

Looks like a good start and nice and close for me.

It also looks like i will miss the first Wimbldon due to me getting Married in Barbados in March but they seem to have a nice gap inbetween them for repairs. On a personal note i am looking forward to 2009 as it shorly can't be any worse than this year results wise. Rolling Eyes

Looks good. 3 Aldershots is excellent as the v8s really look good at this track + wimbledon on the list is a big bonus
All we need is for everybody to get motivated for the START of the season and not wait to see whats happening first.
Brad does have a good reason to miss the opener though. But i think he is just getting another mechanic to help
make the sandwiches & tea! Only joking honest!!

I wish My better half has only been racing with me a handful of times but she does like the warmth of Wimbledon.

Fixtures 2009.

Post  mjg on Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:18 am

I'm pleased with fixtures so far, especially as Aldershot is our local track, and the V8's always put on a good show there.
A little bit sad that the V8's are not involved at Spede weekend, as I would have made the trip across, but that's Spedeworth's decision, and I really don't fancy watching follow the leader National Hot Rods, although I do admire the cars and the build quality.

Can't say that I have heard the one about David Burton and having a Superstox built, but you never know I suppose! Looking forward to seeing his new car, but I have to agree with Bangerboy that the old car was still very quick and looked good.

Best Wishes to Brad and his wife to be. Does she realise that the wedding present list is being compiled at Demon Tweeks! New race suit perhaps? Seriously good luck for the future.
